You ride the cog train up through Tijuca forest to Christ the Redeemer, then cross the city with stops at the cathedral and Selarón steps before taking the two-stage cable car up Sugarloaf for the late-afternoon light over Guanabara Bay. Tickets, transport and a bilingual guide are all included, so there is no queuing and no logistics to solve.
