Rocinha Community Walking Tour with Local Guides

Rocinha is a city inside the city: shops, schools, bakeries, radio stations, a whole economy on a hillside. This tour is guided by people who grew up there and is done entirely on foot, which is the only way to see it honestly. You visit a rooftop viewpoint, an artisan workshop and a local bakery, hear how infrastructure actually works here, and photograph only where your guide says it is welcome. A share of every ticket funds community projects.
