You begin at the Colosseum with reserved entry, then cross into the Roman Forum — the political heart of the ancient city — and finish on the Palatine Hill, where emperors built their homes above everyone else. Your guide is a licensed archaeologist, so the commentary goes beyond dates: who paid for the games, how the crowd was seated by class, why the Forum was abandoned. Groups stay small, so you can ask questions the whole way.
