Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour

The Vatican Museums are four kilometres of galleries, and without a plan most visitors see them backwards. This tour follows the chronology: Egyptian and classical sculpture, the Gallery of Maps, the Raphael Rooms, and then the Sistine Chapel, where you already know what to look for. Afterwards your guide walks you into St Peter's Basilica and explains Bernini's baldachin and Michelangelo's Pietà before leaving you free in the square.

• Dress code: shoulders and knees must be covered for the Chapel and Basilica.
• Photography is not allowed inside the Sistine Chapel.
