Overview

After dark the centre empties and the monuments are lit from below, which is when Rome photographs best. You ride in a classic Vespa sidecar with your own driver-guide, stopping where cars cannot: the Trevi Fountain with room to stand, the Pantheon portico, Piazza Navona, the Colosseum floodlit, and a viewpoint above the rooftops for an aperitivo. Two guests per sidecar, so the commentary is a conversation.
